The Caribbean is made up of over 700 islands and 30 territories that are situated within or near the Caribbean Sea, located east of Central America. It attracted over 32 million visitors in 2019, and even more are predicted to visit in 2022. But why is the Caribbean so appealing to tourists?

Why do tourists love the Caribbean so much?

The Caribbean is a well-known and thriving tourism hotbed due to its tropical climate, white sandy beaches and azure blue waters. Some of the most popular islands to visit among tourists include Barbados, St Lucia, Dominica and Antigua. These islands are all situated on the east side of the region on the outskirts of the Caribbean Sea.

The islands are so alluring to tourists because of the scenery, which looks as though it was plucked straight from paradise. And when you’re not on a beach, there are plenty of restaurants, bars and casinos. But with many slot machines found online, you can save the gaming for back at home.

When is the best time to visit the Caribbean?

The best weather can be experienced in the winter months, but if you want to avoid the heavy tourist footfall, consider visiting in May when the weather is a little cooler and before hurricane season usually hits.
