Elodie Auvray always had a love for art, and originally wanted a career in interior design. After earning a high school degree in technological applied arts in her native Sint Maarten, she moved to the United States, where she attended Johnson County Community College in Kansas. There she discovered her love for fashion and an increasing passion to make people look as breathtaking as the art she loves. The rest is history. Her latest collection under the LOD label is influenced by Rastafarian culture, evidenced by the use of flattering gold hues and natural colours and prints. Auvray’s clothing is vibrant and refreshing, and her stunning colours can go from day to night with ease. Anyone who sashays easily around town in these impeccably made pieces will truly look like a work of art.
