Jamaica’s Martha Brae River is best explored by bamboo raft

The Martha Brae River owes its milky green waters to the limestone geology of Trelawny Parish on Jamaica’s north coast. And the best way to experience this lush landscape is floating on a traditional bamboo raft, steered by a knowledgeable “captain” round the river’s many bends — perhaps with a refreshing beverage in hand.
